Уважаемые друзья!

Перед вами уникальное издание – коллективный труд ученых, врачей, организаторов здравоохранения, принимавших участие в ликвидации эпидемии Эбола в Гвинейской Республике.

Впервые в новейшей российской истории специализированная противоэпидемическая бригада Роспотребнадзора помогала бороться с опасной инфекционной болезнью на территории зарубежного государства. Такая работа продолжалась на протяжении 17 месяцев. И этот опыт обобщен в монографии, которая представлена вашему вниманию.

Россия выделила на борьбу с лихорадкой Эбола более 60 миллионов долларов. На эти деньги закуплены и переданы в дар гвинейской стороне мобильные лаборатории, создан первый в Республике стационарный госпиталь для лечения инфекционных больных. Также организована учеба гвинейских специалистов и проведены совместные научные исследования.

Эта масштабная программа была выполнена в соответствии с Концепцией государственной политики Российской Федерации в сфере содействия международному развитию. Кроме того, в борьбе с лихорадкой Эбола в Гвинее были задействованы и механизмы государственно-частного партнерства, которые широко используются в ходе решения важнейших социально значимых задач. И в этой связи заслуживает внимания вклад в совместную работу Объединенной компании «РУСАЛ».

Участие нашей страны в ликвидации эпидемии болезни, вызванной вирусом Эбола, укрепило традиционно дружественные российско-гвинейские отношения, придало новый импульс развитию практического сотрудничества в области здравоохранения, научных исследований и подготовки кадров. А самоотверженная работа отечественных специалистов способствовала повышению престижа российской медицины на мировой арене.

Правительством Российской Федерации принято решение продолжить помогать Гвинейской Республике. Содействовать становлению национальной системы эпидемиологического надзора, включая создание и оснащение Российско-Гвинейского научно-исследовательского центра профилактики, мониторинга и изучения инфекционных болезней. А значит: у этой книги будет продолжение.

Dear friends!

Here is a unique publication – the collective work of scientists, doctors, health professionals, who took part in the elimination of the Ebola Epidemic in the Republic of Guinea.

For the first time in modern Russian history, the specialized anti-epidemic team of Rospotrebnadzor has helped to fight dangerous infectious disease in the territory of a foreign country. The work has continued for 17 months. And this experience is summarized in the monograph, which is presented to your attention.

Russia has allocated more than $ 60 million to fight the Ebola fever. This money has been used to procure and donate mobile laboratories to the Republic of Guinea and, moreover, the first hospital to treat infectious patients has been set up in the Republic. Besides, the training of Guinean specialists has been arranged and the joint scientific research has been carried out.

This large-scale program has been implemented in accordance with the Concept of State Policy of the Russian Federation in the field of international development assistance. In addition, in the fight against the Ebola fever in Guinea, the public-private partnership mechanisms have been used; these mechanisms are widely used in the solution of socially significant tasks of prime importance. In this connection, the contribution of the United Company RUSAL to joint activities is worth noticing.

Our country's participation in the elimination of the Ebola virus disease epidemic has strengthened the traditionally friendly Russian-Guinean relations, has given a new impetus to the development of practical cooperation in the field of health, research and staff training. And the dedication of the Russian specialists has contributed to increasing the prestige of Russian medicine in the world arena.

The Government of the Russian Federation has taken a decision to continue to render assistance to the Republic of Guinea. To promote the development of the national epidemiological surveillance system, including the setting up and equipping of the Russian-Guinean Research Center for Prevention, Monitoring and Investigation of the Infectious Diseases. Thus: this book will have a continuation.
